Hey! How is your crocheting going? Have you been tired of those looooong projects? Are you eager to see the results of your hard effort right here, right now? Then, this project is what you really need to relax and create a unique piece of accessory in just one afternoon. Yep, it’s true! Do you want to know how this can be done?? 🙂

WHAT YOU NEED:

About 2m of yarn for each color you want to use (for 4mm-sized hook)

A 4mm-sized crocheting hook

A pair of scissors

A tapestry needle

A button

HOW TO:

Chain 5 and make a slip-stitch through the first chain-stitch in order to close the ring. Work 2 half-double crochets through the ring, chain 2, work 2 half-double crochets, chain 2 and repeat the same procedure two more times. Close with a slip-stitch. Now you have a square. Change yarn, work 2 half-double crochets through one of the corners, chain 2 and work 2 more half-double crochets through the same corner. In order for you to start working on the next corner, chain 1. Work 2 half-double crochets through the corner, chain 2 and work 2 more half-double crochets through the same corner. Chain 1 and follow the same steps while working on the remaining two corners of your square. Chain 1 and make a slip-stitch so that you close your square. Congrats! You now have a granny square, which is one of the basic patterns in crochet. Create three more granny squares and combine the colors as you wish. Sew them together and put a button on your bracelet. Instead of a buttonhole I chained 10 and sewed to my bracelet.

  1. This is cool. I love crocheting but all I know how to make is scarves and the occasional hat. This looks like it would make a great gift. I’ll definitely have to try it out.
