#26 Seed-stitch scarf

The other day I finished this huge woolen scarf which is undoubtedly one of the best ways to fight against the chill up here in the North! I had been tired lately of using knit-only or purl-only techniques and therefore I decided to combine these two and show you a great knitting technique for adding a kind of retro style to your projects: the seed stitch! Here is a pretty easy flat scarf using the seed stitch.

WHAT YOU NEED:

200g of yarn

10mm-sized knitting needles

A pair of scissors

HOW TO:

Cast on 21 stitches. Knit one stitch, purl the next one and repeat this procedure till you finish this row. Do the EXACTLY same thing in ALL the following rows. Bind off when you get the desired length of your scarf and…VOILA!

Isn’t it beautiful? Good luck!

Denise 🙂
