The so-called complementary colors, that is to say those who stand opposite from each other in the color wheel (see post #4), have the ability to reinforce each other and make our decorative concept more inspiring. However, we need to be extra-careful as such combinations require extra training and talent. In no case should this piece of advice be used whenever wherever! The best way to take advantage of the effects created by complementary colors is to experiment with details, as for example the sofa cushions or a small piece of furniture.
Choose two complementary colors and play by having the one as your basic color and the other one as your accent. The result will be even better if you adjust the intensity of the colors according to the place and your concept. More gentle hues create a more harmonious and aesthetically beautiful result compared to intense colors.
